After initial pilot testing, Traced is now available to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in the Palisades and Eaton Fire communities.
Traced is an at-home environmental exposure test. From a single strand of hair, it maps your exposure to 15 elements across roughly 30 days, tracking not only what is present but how your levels shift over time. Collection takes seconds at home, and the prepaid kit ships back to our lab with no needles, clinic visit, or prescription.
A single number summarizing your overall exposure profile.
A day-by-day timeline for each of the 15 elements measured.
Every element ranked against a global reference database.
Practical pointers to common, everyday sources of each element.
Beyond individual reports, the LinusBio and Communities teams are working together to understand results at a community level. Aggregated, de-identified data helps both teams map shared exposure patterns across the Palisades and Eaton neighborhoods, and forms the foundation of an ongoing research collaboration into environmental exposure in fire-affected communities.
Through the StandingHomes.org partnership, testing is offered at cost to the whole community, priced to cover only what it takes to process each sample.
Community members also gain access to extended testing, which reads up to 5 cm of hair for roughly 5 months of exposure history. This longer window is not available to the wider public.
Each community has its own ordering links. Select standard or extended testing below, then tap the button to order or scan the code to continue on your phone.
